Senior Internal Audit Manager - Big 4 Consultancy - Audits & Investigations - ACA - CIMA

Our highly esteemed well known international client requires a Senior Internal Audit Manager to develop excellent working relationships at all levels within the business to further the embedding best practices into the organisation and thereby deliver significant value from the team/to the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial accountability for specific elements of the overall assurance budget, as assigned by
  • the Director of Internal Audit; management across both internal & external cost base,
  • allocating & prioritising accordingly
  • Divisional and Technical Audit and Assurance Leadership
  • Perform and manage the delivery of audits and investigations across the business individually
  • Be a deep technical expert in aspects of audit and assurance, bringing to the business
  • Develop and deliver the internal audit strategy for selected areas of the business, defining, agreeing and communicating priorities for assurance
  • Take personal ownership for the delivery of a portfolio of audits

Required Skills

  • Proven experience working for a Big 4 Consultancy as an Internal Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager
  • have a relevant formal professional qualification appropriate to the role (ACA, CIMA, IIA, IRM etc)
  • Direct previous experience of working in audit, assurance or risk functions
