Job Title: Consultant
Location: France (Paris or home-based)

As a consultant, you will be trusted to lead work on complex client engagements with the support of experienced managers and industry subject-matter experts. In this exciting role, you will gather and analyze information gained on site, formulate and test hypotheses on root causes, and develop and communicate recommendations. You will also be trusted to present results to clients and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. Beyond client project work, the consultant will support the development of new clients and markets, delivery of presentations to executives, and the creation of thought leadership.

This position will allow you to apply ingenuity and technical skills to find solutions to the complex challenges that our clients face. You will also be able to apply your analytical and communication skills to maintain positive client relations and drive a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of complex tasks and assignment on client engagements in an independent manner, including: o Identifying and structuring client challenges and issues in order to develop hypotheses about the root causes

o Collecting and gathering client data to test these hypotheses o Analyzing data to develop meaningful recommendations and solutions

Take the lead in engaging clients through meetings, interviews and workshops at various stages of the project life cycle

Lead the development of high quality presentations and documents to be used in client engagements and business development

Build and maintain client relationship to ensure project success

Expand knowledge and expertise in a key discipline area (eg Safety, OpEx, [Other practice areas]) while staying abreast of industry developments

Support the clients knowledge development and transfer by creating content related to best practices developed at the client and standardizing project practices and templates

Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, or other related fields; MBA or Masters degree preferred

Required: 3+ years working with a leading management consulting firm or 5+ years working in an operations the industry (eg oil and gas, manufacturing, mining, construction, etc.)

Previous experience in operational excellence or operational risk management programs in industrial clients will be an advantage

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to extensively interact with clients at all levels.

Excellent analytical and quantitative problem solving skills

Knowledge of challenges and growth opportunities facing companies across France and North Africa

Fluency in both written and spoken English and French. A third European language will be a significant advantage
