Project Accountant - CA
A Project Accountant is required to work on a twelve month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Blackburn Lancashire.
This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK Defence business.
Overview of the Project Accountant contract role
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to work within high performing project accounting teams within the Europe & International business in Samlesbury.
We are looking for a numerate, well organised individual with a keen attention to detail to provide backfill for key team members whilst they support an ERP implementation.
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following;
- General financial accounting tasks - journals, trackers
- Production of financial information to support project reviews
- Support to CSR and EAC processes
- Support to month end and business planning processes
- Working with cross-functional project teams
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The role is based in Blackburn Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
