Position: Payroll Supervisor
Location: Corby
Salary: £11 - £12 per hour
We are looking for a Payroll supervisor to work for our well-known client in Corby. It is an ongoing temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities:

In the absence of the Payroll Manager, making sure payroll deadlines met.

Understands the requirements of the payroll regulations.

Ensures that the Standing Financial Instructions, internal office procedures, audit requirements and the HMRC regulations are adhered to at all times

Liaises with members of the Technical Accounts and HR departments to ensure accurate administration of payments and maintenance of the payroll system.

Communicates with employees resolving any queries they may have.

Calculate and process Pay/Salary advances (CHAPS/BACS)

Liaising with Payroll and Financial Services.

To work as part of a team, ensuring that all payroll documentation eg starters, changes and leavers are actioned according to defined deadlines, adhering to statutory and NHS terms and conditions.

Maintain the payroll and HR data held on the Trust's Human Resource system (ESR) to ensure reports are accurate and robust. This will include validating and auditing workforce information codes relating to occupational group, ethnic origin, source of recruitment and destination on leaving.

Give advice and information to managers and employees regarding payroll agreements and procedures. This will include advice and information regarding overpayment issues, sickness entitlement, tax, NIC and NHS Pension issues. This will include liaising with Financial Management, Financial Services and Payroll.
