Description
A client whose presence within Peterborough has continued to grow and impress is seeking a Financial Accountant, at a qualified level to support a small Treasury team based in Peterborough. As an interim you will work within the group to support all cash management for the business, providing key financial reports and minimise debt. You will be a Qualified Accountant, with the ability to hit the ground running and support the Group Financial Accounting Manager and Head of Finance. You demonstrate the experience in taking full accountability for a treasury function.
Keys tasks will include;
Report to group in regards to debt and cash management for the business
Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts
Review budget and forecast data
Manage currency conversion and maintenance of rates
Review variance analysis
Hold the lead position in all banking activity
Lead cash review meetings with senior stakeholders
Review and develop internal processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency
You will:
Be a Qualified Accountant or equivalent
Strong technical awareness
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in managing a small team
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
