Flint International is looking for a customer facing project manager for our Japan region. The right candidate will be experienced in managing large, complex, deployments for Wireless Service Providers. This position will be based in the Japan and will track/manage projects primarily across the ASEAN region. The candidate must be fluent in Japanese & English
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Customer facing self-starter to manage and coordinate the implementation and integration of Affirmed NFV based software systems into wireless service provider networks
- Proven track record of successful project management leading large cross-functional projects in Telecom or Mobility (EPC) projects
- Strong results orientation and commitment to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently/autonomously while managing multiple projects and competing priorities is essential.
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional/cross company environment.
- Responsible for the development and management of requirements gathering, project plans, project risk, action registers, schedules and acceptance criteria.
- Documenting scope of work and ensuring compliance throughout the project
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project(s) and scope.
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Manages day-to-day client interaction.
- Sets and manages client expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years in project management experience for software/technology products.
- PMP or equivalent preferred
- Experience planning, organizing and delivering successful technology rollouts.
- Effective interpersonal communications (written/verbal) skills in both technical and business environments.
- Experienced in setting priorities for technical professionals.
- Ability to accurately assess project impact of new business requirements and manage scope creep.
- Ability to build consensus, facilitate compromises and negotiate solutions
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity and motivation to deliver projects successfully
- Possesses general understanding in the areas of Mobile Core Networks
- Superior communication with both business and technical audiences at all levels.
- Systems integration knowledge/experience a plus..
- Organizational change management experience (eg, process definition, communication planning, education, performance support.)
- Third-party management experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other software tools associated with Project Management.
- Strong organizational skills..
- Travel as required
