SAP PS Consultant
SAP PS Consultant required for a project with a leading energy company based in Jutland area of Denmark.
Role Description:
- PS Consultant with deep knowledge in the 'logistic leg'
- Should act as a process/business expert and be able to identify, discuss/evaluate SAP solutions and how these can best support the business
- Must be able to convert business solutions to IMG configuration, implemented in collaboration with customer IT resources
- Report to IT Program Manager
- It is a Full time allocation throughout the entire project period
- There is a requirement for my 3 days a week at the location in the Jutland area
Period is from 1 June until 31.12.2018, with the option of 3 months extension. Considered positively that the consultant can begin earlier
Focus areas are:
- Roll out of the solution, including 'solution review sesison' with new device to uncover non-functional functionality that is critical
- The focus is on the use of projects for project managers (less on economics/project control, as this part has been largely implemented)
- IT leaden is lead for 'project solution' - not just PS, but implementation of SAP solution in project executives of the company, including interfaces/integration to modules other than SAP PS; largely MM and PM
- Participate in presentation of solution in collaboration with streamlead
- Establishing "Best Practice" solution
- Optimal use of "standard"
- Inclusion and knowledge building of the customer's IT resources
- Migration of projects from ECC to S/4 - operational as well as technical
Competence - 'must have':
- PS, MM at high level (deep technical knowledge both) that has proven experience in being able to define, explain, document, communicate processes
- Business process strong at the operationalle level in the wards, MM, PM, PS
- Detailed knowledge and practical experience with SAP - both application setup and underlying configuration, especially within SAP PS, as well as MM and PM
- Must have worked as SAP IT consultant (formerly) within SAP PS and like FICO and/or PM/MM
- Work with rollout/template/standard project implementation
- Strong communication skills that help translate 'technical solutions' into business terminology
- Must have taken similar roles before
- Have good process understanding in relation to processes as defined in SAP
- Has SAP Project Manager experience through my 5-8 years
Competences 'nice to have':
- Candidate Exam
- SAP HANA S/4 experience
- SOLMAN's experience as a user (process documentation, test preparation)
- Experience with change management looked like work at the operational level (disqualification of roles and responsibilities in the business sfa. New processes)
- Industry knowledge or knowledge of solutions from related industries
English is the only language required for this role.
