Expert Supply Chain/ Project Leader (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Develop and implement plans to meet customers’ requirements for product quality, cost and delivery, in close partnership with commercial and global function teams
- Lead the site teams in the achievement of business goals using lean methods, ensuring sufficient capacity exists to deliver customer commitments, driving revenue, product quality, cost reduction, margin expansion and on time delivery through the effective use of resources
- Lead key initiatives including EHS, Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, and inventory cycle reductions Ensure appropriate corporate citizenship relationships with community organizations and local legislative bodies
- Interface with all functions across P&L and Segments such as Sales, Legal, Commercial Finance & OTR teams to enhance successful commercial strategies and solutions
Main qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Significant experience of leading manufacturing and supply chain activities, with a strong plant leadership component
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of influencing and driving a change agenda
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities including thorough understanding of process improvement
- Highly organised, good project management and process skills, a self-starter, and good at managing and prioritising numerous projects to meet demanding deadlines
- Fluency in German and English
- Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management, including production operations, inventory controls, costing systems, financial reporting measures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues
