IT Contracts Manager/Category Manager
We are working in partnership with our leading blue chip FTSE 100 client to recruit an IT Procurement Specialist/Manager with the following skills and experience:
You will have extensive procurement experience with a proven track record in owning and executing complex procurement activities (IT procurement experience preferred). This must include experience of drafting contract documents and negotiating with suppliers. You will know your way around procurement systems (eg Oracle/Emptoris/Achilles). Ideally, you will have an understanding of software license agreements and experience of negotiating them. Preferably, you will have divestment/merger experience and be familiar with the activities required and challenges and opportunities presented by such an event.
You will be highly numerate and can influence and negotiate with others using strategic thinking and well-placed confidence to reach customer focused conclusions. It is vital that our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills across all mediums.
This role requires someone to join during early- mid June, so applicants should be available for interview this week/next week and be able to start shortly after.
