Description

Exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to join a well know brand based in Brussels for a contract assignment. Our client is in the process of a fully agile transformation programme and we require a Scrum Master to contribute to the management and coordination of the Middleware Tribe.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Tribe Product Owner, some Squad Product Owners and Scrum Masters in their work by facilitating delivery of multi-squads features within the entity, with a focus on respecting priorities and growing maturity.
  • Acts as glue between the requesting tribe and the contributing squads of Middleware, especially when dependencies between squads are becoming important and/or complex
  • Manages the internal & external dependencies and risks
  • Manages feature plan, timescales, delivery milestones and budget
  • Has the authority to make decisions about inter-squads or inter- obstacles.
  • Manages and resolves impediments
  • Drives enhancements and ensures the implementation of best practices
  • Manages communication with Product Owners (Tribe & Squads)
  • Collaborate with Tribes/Squads in an agile mode (so take into account the Agile ceremonies organization: daily stand-up, Scrum of Scrum, product review, retrospective )

Skills Required:

  • Familiar with IT infrastructure environment is a need.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a product/project management role or team leader/relationship management
  • You have a significant experience in people management
  • You have a significant experience in stakeholder's management in a large organization

Knowledge & Skills

  • You have a good understanding of key concepts within infrastructure, especially around Middleware components & web security
  • You are constructive and solution driven with regards to complexity/issues
  • You can handle working with tight deadlines or in stressful situations
  • You are an excellent communicator, both written & orally
  • You are able to handle confidential information correctly
  • You have an enthusiastic, creative and innovative attitude
  • You can coach and facilitate teams
  • You are able to inspire and stimulate by adopting a positive leadership
  • You are autonomous, diplomatic and perseverant
  • You have an understanding of agile SCRUM SaFE methodologies and best practices or willing to understand and practice it
