This is an exciting contract opportunity based in Edinburgh for our high reputable financial services client for an experienced finance manager who has some experience/knowledge on SAP and Oracle systems.
Manager responsibilities will include:
* Managing the process of getting the Treasury Oracle sub ledger (LBG & TSB) into SAP on a daily basis through each month end.
* Identifying and implement process improvements to the EUCs and processes through each month as part of BAU.
* Managing the assurance and attestation of the SAP ledger at month end including preparation and posting of all EIR accounting entries required.
* Managing development and enhancement the intra-month controls over the ACBS Source system.
* Overseeing the daily and weekly ACBS source system control (incl daily FX sell off) and the suite of fees controls.
* Working with the central project team to implement more long term investment & improvement.
* Managing a robust control framework for all processes within remit.
* Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from stakeholder requests.
* Supporting agreed funded and unfunded projects.
* Supporting delivery of efficiency's and culture of continuous improvement.
* Supporting resource management and development of the team, including support and/or participation in resource sharing.
* Building and actively managing relationships with stakeholders.
