Description
GCS need a Contract Production Planner with a background in ERP planning processes (Capacity & MRP).
ERP systems used will be SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX etc. Candidates need to be highly computer literate as a given with spreadsheet skills including pivot table, look-ups & complex formula knowledge.
Candidates need to be highly accurate, capable of working on their own once trained up in the processes they need to carry out.
The role is about practically enabling the business to deliver consistently high Conformance to Plan performance to support company OTIF & customer satisfaction requirements.
The main responsibility is for translating a firmed-up capacity plan into achievable detailed schedules issues on agreed timescales (no longer than weekly), rapid assessment of plant Conformance to Plan (CTP) & agreement of resulting changes needed.
