Description
Infrastructure Project Manager is required by our Barcelona based client for an initial 6 months contract.
This is not a senior role but does require a PM who has manage infrastructure related projects. For example, office moves and server room consolidation. The role will be in touch with many of our clients offices, making changes to the infrastructure, so you must have experience of working with satellite offices.
Whilst all technologies in use are predominantly Microsoft based, for of this role will also revolve around consolidation and removing technology from offices.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Plan the decommission of systems, Servers and equipment. Manage change control.
Plan review of current offices, coordinate and summarise analysis of existing infrastructure. Plan and coordinate consolidation centrally and decommission locally.
Report status on the above.
Candidates applying must be able to demonstrate recent experience Project Managing a number of small to medium related infrastructure projects in a multi-sited/satellite offices environment.
