Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Accountant/Up to £650/Surrey/6 months
Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant wanted by a genuine, world leading, multi billion $ manufacturing giant to lead on an M&A piece for a newly acquired multi national business.
Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant will suit technical accountants (ideally ACA) with a background in M&A within large scale, multinational organisations.
You will be leading on the Finance aspect of this acquisition piece and as such will require you to be highly organised with strong communication skills. Experience of working with disperse stakeholders across multiple global geographies will be desired.
Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant will have influence on the strategy and how the business goes about completing this particular acquisition. As the Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant you will be performing value exercises right through to finance governance framework design and implementation.

Skillset required
- Highly experience Finance/Accounting professional
- Comfortable leading and working autonomously
- Comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders across the business who may be impacting/participate in the M&A activity
- Project accounting and revenue recognition (IFRS 15)
- Acquisition accounting (IFRS 3).
- Extensive financial reporting
- Operational accounting as well as group consolidation experience
- Strong technical accounting background (ideally ACA)
- Excellent project accounting skills
- Excellent project communication skills.
