I am currently working on a great job opportunity with a client of mine in Canton of Zug. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on permanent basis and to start as soon as possible.Responsibilities
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and General Ledger duties
- Working on monthly quarterly and yearly financial closings (in accordance to IFRS)
- Financial statements preparation
- Support with forecasting and budgeting process
- PNL analysis
- Incoterms
- Trade accounting
- Hedge accounting
- Point of contact for external auditors
- Support in preparing compliance reporting
- Liaise with other departments, such as trading, legal and operations
Your background
- Min 8+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Controlling
- Hold Swiss CPA or equivalent
- Experience working as a Commodity Trade Accountant
- Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP and proficient with the MS Office, especially SAP
- Fluent in English, German would be of a big advantage
