Interim Compensation Consultant

Location: London

Duration: 9 months (with the possibility of extension)

Working for a multinational financial services provider we have an excellent interim opportunity for a Compensation Consultant to be based in London. This individual will provide consultative and analytic support on project based compensation activity.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering specialist compensation advice and guidance within a complex, dynamic and fast paced environment. Experience gained within regulated financial services organisations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compensation support such as benchmark data, job codes and job levelling.
  • Maintain a full and up to date database of pay ranges
  • Liaise with salary survey providers.
  • Analyse market data and make recommendations for pay structures.
  • Analyse and understand total cash competitiveness for pay ranges.
  • Complete data submissions to survey providers accurately and in time.
  • Assist to review competitive local pay strategies based on local market factors and key jobs and skills
  • Actively participate in annual review process.
  • Assist to manage the annual review compensation process for assigned geographies.
  • Provide local support in communications, consulting with managers, system testing, etc.
  • Responsible for end - end data and analytics delivery for all Compensation project/cyclical activities and support job codes/job architecture rollouts for Europe.
  • Design compensation reports to show monthly/quarterly movements.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Reward/Compensation preferably gained in a complex multinational organisation.
  • Exposure and understanding of various compensation survey providers.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop quantitative models (eg business case and complex forecasting). Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills required to work in a fast moving Matrix environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present information in a concise and meaningful manner to managers and executives.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example.
  • Strong planning, organizational, consulting and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Workday and compensation management tools.
