POSITION SUMMARY

  • To participate in IT security vulnerability assessments at manufacturing facilities (site) and provide remediation support for site production IT managers.
  • The assessments are conducted on-site utilizing a variety of analysis tools to test production IT security against vulnerabilities that might be exploited by outside agents, taking the approach of an attacker or intruder into our manufacturing systems.
  • Help sites in remediation of vulnerability findings and assist in site IT security managers reach company compliant levels of security. Report out on site activities and vulnerabilities and status if sites against project goals.
  • Work on best practices for production IT Security.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Manage and participate in on-site assessments to evaluate the IT security status at client's manufacturing facilities
  • Provide consultancy services and drive standardization for IT-based production systems and processes
  • Develop specifications and best practice guidelines for IT security-related topics
  • Contact for production IT-related topics within the organization
  • Provide training/coaching on security-related matters for IT-based systems, applications and processes
  • Participate and promote production IT security topics in internal and external committees, workgroups, professional associations and societies
  • Help to grow business by innovative contributions to existing and future strategic initiatives

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

Education Requirement(s):

  • Bachelor degree with 1-3 years of experience
  • OR 3-5 years of directly related experience (attacking/hacking systems)

Skill & Competency Requirements:

  • Proven in-depth knowledge of IT systems, architectures, security components and technologies
  • High level of integrity, customer focus and motivation
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and collaboration capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to acknowledge, communicate, escalate and resolve problems
  • Work independently when not on team assignment

Preferences:

  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • Manufacturing process experience
  • Project management skills and are able to manage complex IT projects

Travel Requirements:

It is anticipated that travel will be approximately 30% of the time including some international travel
