Senior Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent industry experience with proven trainings on the job
- Background with protein formulation and analytics, parenteral dosage forms, aseptic working techniques and process development is a plus
- Practical knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools, such as JMP and Spotfire is desirable
- Expertise in organisation with planning, tracking, priority setting and adherence to project timelines
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Planning, organising, performing and documenting scientific experiments in cooperation with functional leads
- Developing efficient and robust processes for the manufacture in sterile facilities, e.g. by applying down-scale models
- Providing raw data documentation, evaluation and results interpretation as well as proposing input for the design of next experiments
- Ensuring scientific documents for internal partners, including Manufacturing sites, Device Development, Regulatory CMC and Clinics
- Generating laboratory procedures, reports and instructions as well as transferring procedures and instructions to GMP production facilities including troubleshooting
- Working according to appropriate SOPs, QM, GMP, HSE, GLP and ISEC
