Description

For our life science client based in Fribourg, Switzerland, we are looking for a:

APL Data Expert Finance & Supply Chain

Location: Fribroug, CH

Start date: ASAP
Contract for 8 months + possiible extension

Major Accountabilities:
Project Management Responsibilities Finance 50%
* Leads all Finance master data related activities
* Performs assigned tasks according to specifications
Ø Records and reports progress against plan
Ø Reports actual and potential problems and develops scenarios for possible solutions
Ø Reports project issues that may influence the work plan, budget, and/or schedule
* Maintains close working relationships with other team members, senior functional representatives and key users
* Follows project standards in all activities
* Ensures the production of quality deliverables
* Supports ERP team members in all areas, focussing on the business aspects and less on methodology and delivery

Project Management Responsibilities Supply Chain 50%
* Supports all areas of master data related activities
* Performs assigned tasks according to specifications
* assigned tasks according to specifications:
Ø Join and/or complete DM related workshops/trainings
Ø Perform or ensure data cleansing tasks are completed on time
Ø Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
Ø Perform value mapping with support from technical teams
Ø Create and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
Ø Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects
Ø Ensure data readiness and verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects

Stakeholder and Change Management
For the assigned responsibilities, assesses impact and dependencies of the project activities on other IRIS deployments (i.e. manufacturing, EMEA), on other Novartis Divisions (i.e. Pharma) and on the business; timely aligns actions and approach with the different stakeholders
Ø Drives Change Management processes for the assigned responsibilities and collaborates closely with various APL business stakeholder groups to initiate and drive process and organizational changes. Thereby, assesses impacts on APL IRIS project and the business.

Business partnering responsibilities
* Drives and facilitates business decisions (business process changes, business scenarios, master data, organizational set-up, etc.)
* Takes corrective actions on scope and progress deviations
* Liaises with business stakeholders and process owners, conducts reviews, change management to business
* Continuously evaluates business impacts and risks; proposes mitigating actions

Ideal Background:
* University Degree (Bachelor, MBA, MSc)
* At least 5 years' experience in Finance (FRA and BPA) and or Supply Chain role.
* Hands on experience with finance or supply chain master data; strong understanding of underlying processes and controls
* Strong understanding of business processes, financial processes and controls (e.g. Finance Core, NovaCore, NFCM, NPMR, FCRS) and ERP flows; knowledge of IRIS is a plus.
* Strong project management and communication skills demonstrated by results in cross functional, multi-cultural projects. Ability to drive for results and meet project deadlines.
* Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to initiate and implement process changes
* Challenge the status quo and always look for opportunities to simplify and enhance supply chain activities
* Ability to act in a complex, culturally diverse and changing business environment
* Knowledge of working on ERP systems
* English fluent
