Quanta are looking for a Site Project Manager to be based in the Ukraine for a major renewable energy project with one of our clients who specialise in the development, construction and operation of onshore renewable energy projects.This is the chance to secure a contract for multiple years on a large-scale project with a number of planned phases starting in 2018. Based in the South of Ukraine our client is providing a generous package covering both remuneration (day rate and milestone bonuses) and also accommodation, vehicle and return flight tickets throughout the contract.
As the Site Project Manager, you will:
- Coordinate all the construction activities for the project including the construction of:
- Electrical high voltage line
- Electrical substation
- Medium voltage lines network
- Access roads,
- Foundations
- Delivery, erection and commissioning of the large renewable energy technologies
- Responsibility for the financial performance of the project
- Construction invoice validation, budget and cash flow management and updating.
- Management of the interaction between the various contractors and their individual constraints.
- Validation and management of the construction documentation, including material supply and construction quality plans, and verification that everything is in accordance with the execution design.
- Preparation of the hand-over of the project to the Operation Division team.
You will already have:
- Experience in being a Project Manager of large scale multi-discipline power generation projects or construction projects of the value of above €35 million.
- Experience in managing an Engineering Team and Sub-Contractors.
- A Degree in Engineering.
- Fluent in English, Russian language skills ideal but not essential.
