iKas International are currently recruiting for a Public Relationship Manager (PR Manager) on behalf of an industry renowned, market leading Asset Management house who are looking to grow out their global marketing team. Sitting within one of the most business critical areas, this is an opportunity for an accomplished PR Manager who has ideally 5+ years' experience as a PR counsel at either an agency or in house team.
You will be joining an ever growing team working on a global marketing project working with PR agencies, PR team and spokespeople to arrange media interviews and meetings on a day-to-day basis. You will provide exceptional reputation and issues management with an extensive background in Financial Services.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will attain a university degree in a PR related discipline and will have 5+ years' experience as a PR counsel at either an agency or in-house team. You will have in-depth knowledge of reputation and issues management and will have a background in Financial Services.
Excellent Understanding of:
- 5+ years PR Manager experience
- Reputation and issues management experience
- MUST have financial services exposure
- Relationship skills with tier-one and trade specific media
- Ability to create and execute media plans
- Coordinate and produce regular reporting
- Work with PR agencies to translate media materials
- Capability to train and organise sessions for spokespeople
- Strong analysis skills, the skill to resolve complex problems and posit pragmatic solutions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
- Ability to lead discussions to a conclusion
