Description
Senior Finance Manager is required by our large Finance & Wealth Management client in the North West of the UK.
The role would be primarily driving the group's budgeting and forecasting processes, whilst supporting the Group Finance Director in the management and control of the group finance function. You would also be ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day finance activities of the global finance team, ensuring adherence to group policies and procedures
- Consolidating the group's monthly results and preparing information for the board pack
- Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts for the holding company and other subsidiary accounts as and when required
- Leading the quarterly forecasting and planning process
- Monitoring and evaluating the business's financial system and driving change to improve quality of business management information
- Supporting the integration of new acquisitions onto the finance platform
- Ensuring that working capital policies achieve the desired access and flexibility at company, regional, and country levels
- Providing cash management support to Group Finance Director
- Assisting with the annual audit process, working with worldwide subsidiaries
- Presenting monthly/quarterly analysis to key stakeholders and explaining the 'story' with insight and robust commentary on the financial implications of business activities
Essential experience and qualifications
- Fully ACA/ACCA qualified, with at least five years' PQE
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Strong systems knowledge and experience of driving change
- Experience of leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
