Marketing Manager (Paid Search) - Brentford, London - £490 - £530 Per Day - 6 months

GSK have a brilliant opportunity for a Global Paid Search Manager/Marketing Manager to join them until December 2018 based at their Brentford office.

GSK is on a journey towards digital transformation to become the global leader in bringing the best in class analytics and insights, to serve the consumer and patient. This strategy is far reaching and will extend to all corners of the business - from Big Data and applications of artificial intelligence in R&D to New Media in bringing to life consumer brands.

We are seeking a paid search manager with 3+ years' experience to support our global media team. This unique role is pivotal in helping GSK brands operate best in class paid search across the globe. You will support the Global Search Director in planning and deployment across key GSK stakeholders and their markets. You will also work daily with internal and external partners, including media agencies and vendors such as Google.

In this role, you will support paid search strategy, execution and innovation for some of the most popular brands in the world, like Sensodyne, Theraflu, Otrivin, Panadol and Voltaren, among others. We're looking for someone with executional paid search experience who is passionate about search and digital media to help set us up for success in this quickly evolving landscape. You will effectively collaborate with our brand teams, agency partners, and vendors to deliver best-in-class paid search strategy and implementation.

As the successful applicant, you will support the global search director with ways of working for paid search planning and execution across key GSK stakeholders and their markets.

If successful, you will partner with our Paid Search team to link the strategies for the broader benefit of our brands digital presence.

Support in delivering inspirational and actionable strategy on current and new platforms and technology (ie Google, Yandex, Baidu platforms, eCommerce/Amazon, voice search, connected devices).

Support with paid search education, best practices and capability building across our five categories and focused on our Power Brands.

Collaborate with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders, and utilise available platforms to supply data for monthly tracking of KPIs and objectives.

Perform competitor analysis for key brands and markets along with insights/commentary to accompany global scorecards/dashboards.

Perform account audits to govern deployment of global initiatives in-market, communicating findings and implications clearly to global teams.

Support regions, areas and markets with deployment of global framework plus optimisation best practice guidelines to drive best in class, consistent paid search execution across the globe.

Lead weekly calls alongside project manager with agencies and work with global project management team to ensure successful delivery of tasks.

Support with communication of global paid search initiatives to regional, area and local teams; including cascading of information and troubleshooting.

Engage closely with CDO teams (data & analytics, eCommerce, digital content & PR, insights etc.) and support with relevant initiatives as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience working agency side across multiple clients/stakeholders, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Hands on experience executing paid search campaigns, ideally across multiple platforms including AMS.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex digital jargon to traditional marketers.

Deep understanding of the search marketing landscape, and enthusiasm to learn about other digital channels.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and plan effectively.

Self motivated/self-starter.

GAP qualified.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience of analytics.

Experience of working in an agency setting.

Experience of working in multi-stakeholder, multi-market environment.

Experience working with FMCG brands.
