Customer Trainer & Course Designer - Electronic Warfare

A Customer Trainer & Course Designer with Electronic Warfare knowledge is required to work on a permanent basis for our Defence client based in Lincolnshire.

Overview of the Customer Trainer & Course Designer role

A Customer Trainer is required with practical and theoretical experience of Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS) data analysis and threat vulnerability analysis and countermeasure development. The trainer will join a team of EWOS Trainers based in Lincoln with responsibility for development and delivery of specialist EWOS technical training to UK and foreign customers.

Key Responsibility Areas of the Customer Trainer & Course Designer

  • The design of EWOS specialist technical training courseware covering EW equipment and usage.
  • The delivery of EWOS specialist technical training.
  • The efficient and effective transfer of knowledge and skills to course delegates.
  • Contributing to Training Needs Analysis.
  • Post course assessment and reporting.
  • The completion of tasks to cost and time budgets.
  • Liaison with EWOS project teams to maintain knowledge levels.

Key skills required for the Customer Trainer & Course Designer

  • Experience in EW Operational Support.
  • Experience in teaching EW to novice and advanced students
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
  • Experienced user of MS software.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised civilian or military training accreditat

Knowledge:

  • Background in EWOS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the radar and/or electro-optic environment
  • Knowledge of EW countermeasures techniques.
  • Experience of creating customer training solutions
  • Experience in the design and delivery of technical training EW theory courses
  • Experience with MS software products.

The role is based in Lincolnshire - commutable from Lincoln, Sleaford, Boston, Skegness, Spilsby and Horncastle
