A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of Support Services Manager to provide Support Services, at a senior level, to support the successful delivery of projects and business objectives
Contract Period: 30 July 2018 to 30 June 2019 (with 2*6 months possible extension option).
Successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- 5+ years' experience working in a leadership role in an ICT Applications Environment. (Mandatory)
- Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management, Government, ICT or other related field. (Mandatory)
- Ability to exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on high level judgement and consideration of wider departmental implications, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior management.
- Experience in, or knowledge of Leadership responsibilities in the DHS ICT environment.
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Ability to drive innovation and changes in workplace practices.
- Ability to organise work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction.
The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and Baseline clearance for this role.
