Engineering Manager
Contract - 6/7 months
Cambridge
£425 - £550 per day
My Cambridge based client are looking for an engineering manager on an interim basis to stabilize activity within the engineering department as a result of recent events within the organisation. The role will involve leading a team made up of firmware, electronics and mechanical engineers. Experience in all of these areas is not essential but strong electronics knowledge is an overall prerequisite.
Key Skills/Experience:
Project management skills within an electronics environment - must have a proven track record of delivering project cost control and customer satisfaction.
15 years engineering experience with a solid understanding of electronics engineering
Experience with all areas of product compliance. (CE as well as other compliance standards)
BSc in Electronics/Computer Science or relevant field.
Process documentation skills and ISO 9001 experience
Desirable - Design for manufacture.
