Liverpool

The Asset Servicing department is responsible for servicing the assets for over 100 clients and their underlying beneficiaries, these clients are predominately based in the UK/Ireland and Chanel Islands with planned expansion into Europe. These clients are both Retail/Wealth/IFA and Institutional Financial Services companies. The department comprises of 60 employees with staff in 4 locations Liverpool/London, Manchester and Chennai.

The department is split into 5 sections, Dividends/Market Claims/Middle Office function/Processing and Event Capture.

The Departments responsibilities are to ensure accurate and timely event capture, accurate and timely processing of both Dividends and Corporate Events that effect underlying client accounts ensuring that clients stock records are accurately reflected at all times, all market claims are captured and paid in a timely manner, and the timely capture (Middle Office) of clients elections.

The area processes around 12,000 corporate action and 20,000 dividend events per year.

All areas cover events globally and this offers exposure to all types of events, markets and asset classes.

  • Collating data of all Asset Service Events, translating into Nexus
  • Prioritisation and Responsibility of own workload
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Provide support for other team members
  • Reconciling nominee holdings, valuation and bookcost holdings
  • Regular and effective communication with other team members, seniors and other departments internally and externally to enhance awareness of what is happening in our business
