Regulatory Reporting Process Analyst, Accountant, Manchester, 6 months

Major Custodial Bank is looking to appoint a Regulatory Reporting Process Analyst to its team in Manchester. You will be an experienced qualified accountant with good exposure to process mapping ideally using Visio who is looking to join an established team who reports on all of the legal entities of the client.

Team Description: (Overview of the team)

The team provides world class financial accounting services to the EMEA Controllers The controllers are a specialist function responsible for the books and records of the EMEA legal entities, regulatory & statutory reporting and ensuring a robust control environment.

What the job role involves

  • Responsible for mapping and documenting EMEA regulatory, statistical and liquidity processes with a view to identifying all dependencies, data points and manual workarounds.
  • Work with key stakeholders to analyse manual workarounds to assess the impact of automation.
  • One processes are fully documented, identify opportunities for standardisation across locations and further efficiencies.
  • What we are looking for:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Regulatory reporting experience preferable
  • Experience of mapping processes (Visio desirable)
  • Analytical with an inquisitive/challenging mind set
  • Controls experience essential
  • Significant experience of accounting systems and process improvement
  • Advanced user of excel
