My client is a leading energy and utilities client based in Warwick, and Pontoon Solutions are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Finance Manager to work within the Opex Record to Report (R2R) team.
The Opex R2R team have undergone a number of changes over the last few months and this role will play a part in the continuation of that change and the stabilisation of the department
Responsibilities
- Manage the RtR Opex team to deliver complete, accurate and timely financial results
- Manage the team of 10-15 people to transact the journals, recharges and allocations within the financial accounts
- Review the financial results for integrity and completeness
- Liaise with stakeholders on expectations and results
- Initiate and deliver process improvements
- Manage the team through a period of transition
Skills and Experience
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Experienced Finance Manager from within a large corporate environment or a Financial Shared Services
- Experience of a regulated environment such as utilities
- SAP experience
- Finance Transformation experience
