Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Internal Talent Manager for an initial 4-month contract based in central Glasgow. Our client is delivering an ambitious digital programme and is now seeking an Internal Recruitment Manager to provide advice on current and future resourcing requirements.
This role will fulfil the delivery of a number of key tasks:
- Review the resourcing processes and sources for obtaining staff and provide recommendations for the most appropriate routes to obtain staff
- Review existing adverts and draft new role profiles and provide recommendations for improvement, with the aim of obtaining quality responses and high quality candidates
- Review the specialist roles within the programme/divisions and provide recommendations for the most appropriate channels through which to advertise these specialist roles to obtain maximum visibility
- Provide weekly updated recruitment demand and activity information to the programme resourcing team
- Support managers and leaders across the programme to identify the resources they require
- Provide a strategic view of resources across CDO to ensure efficient use resources, and manage resilience
- Ensure arrangements are in place to build capability in relevant disciplines alongside contractor resource
Essential Skills/Experience required:
- Worked in an organisation with a significant degree of growth and change
- End to end recruitment and resourcing experience, including working with specialist markets
- Strong communication and consulting skills, in particular, relationship building, influencing & negotiating and stakeholder management
- Experienced in delivering assignments, projects and deliverables to time and budget
- Experience of writing statements of work
- Ability to build resource forecasts and budgets
- Valid Disclosure Scotland Check (valid from the last 12 months) is highly desirable
