Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for you to be part of the Group Customer Billing - Credit Risk and Fraud Team, supporting and protecting the future growth of the Consumer business across all our Mobile, Fixed Line and Home Broadband products, through the involvement as a credit risk subject matter expert on a critical integration project to bring all our credit checking platforms together.

What you'll be doing

As a senior consultant in the Consumer Acquisition Risk team you will be directly involved with this integration project bringing all our credit checking platforms together through:

  • Design and implement Acquisition Risk Strategy process flows to enable us to deploy our credit risk strategy across the mobile and fixed line products.

  • Support the project definition of the new Acquisitions end to end credit strategy, process and policy - identifying requirements, ensuring compliance and best practice to enable continuous improvement aligning to the wider product portfolio as required.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the field of Acquisition Credit Risk

  • Input and support the design and build of new analysis and insight reporting for the acquisition risk performance to identify trends and opportunities to drive improvements in core KPIs.

  • Direct involvement in the configuration and test of the new Acquisitions end to end credit strategy to the agreed format and timelines for the chosen decision engine

  • Produce consistent insight and deliver cohesive and coherent message on Credit Risk progress and issues to present to Senior Stakeholders.

  • Represent Acquisition Credit Risk in key governance meetings and operational forums to support the successful build and migration to the new platform

Your CV needs to show

  • Experience of working in a high volume Consumer Credit Risk environment, either in an Acquisition or In Life capacity

  • Experience in the Telecommunications domain will be advantageous

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

  • Excellent track record of building and testing credit strategies and decision trees

  • Evidence of influencing stakeholders and proposing findings and recommendations

  • Degree level or equivalent experience in a financial, statistical or mathematical specialism
