Description
A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of 20 System Analysts in Canberra.
Contract period: 30 Jul 2018 to 30 Jun 2019 (with possible extension options from 01 Jul 2019 to 30 Jun 2020)
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- Minimum 5 years Senior Systems Analyst and proven experience in undertaking Systems Analyst duties.
- Ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to be able to convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences.
- Elicit, structure and prioritise business requirements and express these requirements to stakeholders for acceptance/approval using consistent textual descriptions, diagrams and graphical displays.
- Facilitate review sessions and workshops (including Joint Analysis and Design (JAD) sessions) with the business area and ICT stakeholders to ensure business requirements are prioritised and presented in an appropriate ICT format back to ICT areas for development.
- Determine the current business process the AS IS of a business area and be able to clearly articulate the AS IS following either an agile or waterfall methodology.
- To engage and elicit feedback in every part of the development life cycle following an agile or waterfall methodology.
