Job Details:

My clients International Marketing team are seeking a Marketing Contractor to assist in the development and execution of international marketing programs.

The Marketing Contractor will be responsible for working with Global Acceptance, merchant acquirers and PSPs, creative vendors, and International Marketing to design programs, execute, and evaluate acceptance efforts in assigned EMEA markets.

This individual will work with acquirers to support marketing activities including, but not limited to, merchant opt out campaigns, large merchant awareness campaigns, custom signage/premium orders, creation of presentation materials, adverts, and articles as needed, creation of copy to promote DGN and merchant awareness, and provide support for the customer complaint/referral pilot process.

These efforts are key to merchant education and awareness for our Acquiring, Issuing, and Net2Net business partners.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as marketing support for internal and external business partners in the development and implementation of strategies for achieving merchant acceptance and growing issuance in assigned EMEA countries
- Support tools and programs to grow quality merchant acceptance and drive increased sales volume to newly accepting merchants and markets
- Leverage research and tools to assist in the creation of custom programs, marketing materials and proposals for Acquirers, PSPs, and large merchants to expand the business
- Work with the marketing team to build programs to motivate our channel partners to prioritize acceptance and issuance of our cards in assigned markets
- Evaluate and communicate regularly about the business, making recommendations and modifications accordingly
- Liaise with internal and external business partners to share best practices
- Pursue these objectives whilst making prudent budget decisions while maximizing effectiveness

Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years marketing experience with extensive client-facing and B2B experience; Master's degree a plus
- Established knowledge of the payments industry - acquiring a plus
- Proven success in managing business critical projects including ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Fluency and ability to conduct business in Western European language strongly preferred
- Excellent client focus and relationship-building skills, ability to frame proposals with client motivations in mind
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to clients, including ability to influence others
- Ability to work with colleagues and manager in other time zones
- Experience in international business
