Currently recruiting for a Payments (BACS) Subject Matter Expert to join my client on a contract basis in Central London.
As the BACS Subject Matter Expert you will be responsible for the day to day management of the payment schemes rules and associated payment and message related services, including supporting administrative, developmental and marketing activities, and deputise for the Manager Scheme Products and Services as and when appropriate for the business.
You will have experience working with the Direct Debit Scheme, including the rules and procedures and their impact on members, service users and the general public as well as associated payment and message-related services.
Required skills and experience:
- Supporting the Manager Scheme Products and Services to maintain and develop payment related services associated with the scheme products and related services
- Maintaining the rules and standards associated with the scheme products (Direct Debit and Bacs Direct Credit).
- Co-ordinate development of existing rules and the creation of new rules as required.
- Maintaining governance related rules and documentation.
- Co-ordinate development and changes to existing rules and the creation of new rules as required, engaging with legal advisors when appropriate
- Identifying and raising risks with the Risk Team for risks relating to the BACs service where they occur
- Managing stakeholder relationships
- Handling queries, complaints and concerns from stakeholders in line with the agreed process
- Responsible for maintaining the document library on behalf of the company including engaging with stakeholders to ensure version control
- Producing meeting papers for agenda items as required
- Supporting specific propositions including Affiliates, Facilities Management accreditation etc.,
- Assisting Marketing Services Provider (Scheme Support & Development) to manage Direct Debit & Bacs Direct Credit related incidents
- Work with the Marketing Services Provider to develop campaigns and initiatives to manage the reputation of the scheme brands
- Co-ordinate technical content of all scheme marketing related literature
- Review newsletter (e-comms) content for banks and service users
- Review and update the Schemes element of the Bacs website.
