Description
IT Project Manager wanted for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years' working experience, alternatively 10+ years of relevant professional IT practice without degree
- 4+ years' background in leading large, complex projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
- Expertise in planning and managing all phases of system development including requirements gathering, design, configuration and development as well as COTS software selection, testing, conversion and application support
- PMP certification and prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Managing all aspects of large IT projects and programs, including monitoring scope, milestones, dependencies, costs, and benefits
- Developing project or program budgets and taking responsibility for performance against financial parameters, monitoring and reporting
- Creating project artifacts such as project plans, measures, communications, resource- and time management
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, project managers, customers, vendors and suppliers while managing commitment levels as well as communication along with facilitating vendor and supplier evaluations
- Identifying risks and issues within the project and escalating accordingly as well as devising mitigation and escalation strategies to address risks and issues
- Leading governance structures and processes using project management methodology and governance tools, coupled with conducting regular project and program reviews with project managers and stakeholders
