Description

Finance Analyst (Risk) - Uxbridge/Stockley Park

Description:

The role is created to deliver the pilot for controls testing centralization for one market within Europe. During the pilot, we are looking to test controls performed locally by a centralized team in a remote manner, engaging with local finance teams as well as the third party testing team, analysing results of the testing centrally and providing assurance to local management on the effectiveness of their control environment, including analysis of root causes of control deficiencies and provision of adequate mitigation actions that ensure mitigation of any financial reporting risks.

Based on the initial planning with the local finance team and understanding of the local finance operations, a pilot testing plan will be defined in advance of the year-end SOX testing cycle.

The risk analyst Controls Testing Centralization project role will deliver the pilot testing as per the plan, and evaluate the success of the testing pilot to incorporate any learnings in the year end plan for SOX testing and to produce key success factors that will be used to define a standard approach for subsequent markets in scope of this project.

The risk analyst Controls Testing Centralization project role will supervise the outsourced team execution of the testing plan during the testing pilot and during the year end SOX testing cycle to ensure adequate testing progress, adequacy of testing results and quality of testing documentation, analysis of control deficiencies and observations with local teams to ensure adequate remediation and address any issues or escalations during the testing cycle.

The risk analyst Controls Testing Centralization project role is also responsible for reporting status of testing, results and pilot learnings to the Controls Testing Centralization Project Manager (PMO) role.
