Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Process NCR's into dedicated systems and creates NCR packets as required for further evaluation.
Perform follow up as required to obtain necessary information for NCR evaluation.
Prepare and submit First Pass Yield report to management
Retrieves device history as needed when items are required for audits being conducted within the department.
Investigates product error responsibility with relation to items received through the Receiving Inspection department
Provide direction to internal and external personnel on issues related to NCR reporting, and Supplier score-cards
Assist Receiving Inspection Management in data gathering and special projects as required

Expected Areas of Competence
Must have demonstrated knowledge of the clients systems and there application. Must be able to obtain and supply knowledge as it relates to NCR processing, First Pass Yield reporting, and product/document retrievals.
Knowledge of DCS, JD Edwards, WOW, Stellent, Enovia, Livelink, SAP SRM, QC View, Internet, Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn other software quickly is required.
Must be detail-oriented. Able to consistently meet high standards of input accuracy, produce quality documents, compile data, and perform simple analyses with accuracy. Checks own work before saving or passing on to customers.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be capable of handling multiple tasks for various customers while coping with frequent interruptions.
Decision making is required in balancing priorities among the many ongoing tasks, and being responsive to critical situations, as this position has a high volume of work, regulatory mandated time limits, and often changing priorities.
Action-orientated: take initiative to correct problems or make changes for improvement without waiting for direction.
Proven ability to work in a team setting. Willing to share the load and participate in projects outside of normal job scope. Works closely with others to assure functional commitments are met.
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all individuals in a congenial and cooperative manner.
