Our leading UK Banking client are looking to hire an experienced Implementation Manager into their Product Management Team, to help manage risk, governance, process and change for Mortgages products.

More specifically, the chosen individual will be focusing on conduct risk in Mortgages.

An understanding of or experience of Mortgages projects would be highly preferable, however not essential. The IMPLEMENTATION MANAGEMENT within the Financial Services space is key.

The following is required from the candidate:

  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Drive to push a project forward
  • Ideally a good understanding of Mortgages
  • A good understanding of the importance of conduct
  • The ability to structure and govern a project is an important skill to be successful.
  • Previous roles may include Consultancy Analyst/Associate, Risk Associate or Manager level role at a bank.
  • Understanding mortgages risk and interdependencies would be great
  • Ability to pull a story together
  • Attention to detail - no small mistakes
  • Understanding of product conduct considerations and execution of strategy at big org is a bonus
  • Confident talker

The role will involve:

  • Having completed the strategic thinking, the company is about to enter the delivery phase.
  • The opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-profile initiative for the mortgage business.
  • The role will involve interaction with various internal stakeholders, feedback discussion points, and delivering on operational changes. This delivery focused project will involve the successful candidate leading discussions with various teams, challenging back where appropriate, and create senior committee presentations which summarise findings.
  • Someone who can take high level strategy, co-ordinate the business, understand how to implement the strategy and have awareness of data conflicts.
  • PowerPoint skills need to be exceptional as presentations will go to the committee and MD level. We need someone who is committee level ready.
  • It would be good to get an ex consultant who hasn't progressed yet but might be at associate/analyst level.
