CONTRACT Senior Change Manager required for a leading retail company to bring leadership and support as part of the business transformation efforts to drive the strategic cloud 9 objectives on an initial 6-month contract in Venlo, Netherlands.

Location: Venlo, Netherlands

Length: 6 months initial (high chance of an extension)

Rate: Depending on experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering change management activities in a project-based environment.
  • Experience working in a consultative role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm.
  • Experience operating in an international organization, ideally in a matrixed structure.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across silos.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a pragmatic well-rounded individual who can interact effectively with people at all levels of business.
  • Able to effectively cope with change as well as new and developing situations, and acting without having the total picture; being comfortable handling risk and uncertainty.
  • Strong intellect and analytical skills.
  • Appropriate decisiveness to initiate and implement key change activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Change Manager will develop and drive change management plans for adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes:
  • Leader & Stakeholder Engagement - Identify impacts to stakeholders. Develop and manage alignment and engagement plans for all levels of the organization.
  • Communication Planning and Execution - Develop communication plans and related materials in support of initiative communication needs.
  • Adoption Strategies - Develop and lead change adoption strategies to facilitate user adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Project Management - Manage change management workstream activities and coordinate change related activities from other groups such as project team members, change network members, leadership teams, etc.
  • Coaching - Serve as change management SME. Provide recommendations to leaders and project team members on actions to transition the organization through change.
  • Training manager - manage the training activities, such as training need assessment, creation of training materials, training schedules, train the trainer sessions, embedding the training in the business as usual curriculum, attendance, effectiveness, etc.

About the role:

The primary focus is on bringing an integrated approach to the people side of change to include plans which drive faster adoption and greater utilization of new processes and systems, and to reinforce the company's culture and new behaviours.
