Our client a government organisation are looking for a Commercial Lead an on initial 6 month contract based in Nottingham/London.
You will be responsible for leading the category management, covering the following categories of spend. Professional services (including consulting, legal, audit and other financial services), Interdepartmental service agreements, IT services, HR services (including fleet, training and development etc.), Estates, Governance (including licenses and insurances). You will be required to plan and run public sector OJEU compliant procurement and tender processes for complex and/or high value areas of spend.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within commercial/catergory/procurement Lead/managerial roles - Ideally within NHS OR Government.Proven experience of building relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership both internal and external to the organisation, including suppliers. Experience in Corporate services category management (eg IT, HR, Legal). Member of appropriate professional qualification - CIPS OR MCIPS
