A global insurance business is looking for a talented FP&A Manager to implement a stronger process and controls framework for FP&A as well as taking the lead on communicating key data and analytics to senior leadership.
This person will know what best practise FP&A looks like and will be able to implement.
This is a great assignment for anybody who is looking for an opportunity to work for a household name who are receptive to change and want someone to leave a positive Legacy of improvements.
The Hiring manager describes the role as:
"A really interesting and dynamic role to work in a highly skilled team and deliver on a number of requirements. We need stronger internal processes within FP&A and this person will pioneer these changes. This person will also have to present key information to senior stakeholders so must be able to communicate effectively with non-finance people."
To successfully deliver this on this assignment you will need to have:
- An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in insurance
- Experience documenting processes, procedures, risks and controls
- Proven track record of financial modelling
- Experience operating in changing environments or in project times
- Experience in working capital analysis
A little more information about the role:
- Ability to work in high pressure environment
- Strong communication at all levels of a business
- Good experience dealing with independent experts (Big4, solicitors, strategic partners etc)
- Exposure to (IFRS 17 & 4)
