Description

Market Researcher/Interviewer - London- multiple locations - driving license/car required

The key to good interviewing is excellent communication, so you will need to have a pleasant and friendly personality and the confidence to approach and converse with a wide selection of people in order to gain the respondent's interest and co-operation. The ability to persuade reluctant people to agree to be interviewed is an important aspect of the job.

You need to be aware of the physical requirements of the position. On shift, you will be standing for long periods of time, so some degree of stamina and physical fitness is important

You need the dexterity to key in data on a tablet. You also need to understand that there should be no restrictions on your ability to travel to your place of work by whatever means required depending on the location of the site.

What does the job involve?
The job involves interviewing staff members on their use (or not) of the onsite catering facilities and their individual dietary requirements.
A shift consists of a team of interviewers working at a particular time at a particular site. These can be AM shifts, PM shifts or, at some sea ports, sampling on a particular vessel.
Interviews are carried out on a tablet computer unless Internet connectivity is not available at the site in which case a paper version will be provided.

Availability
Immediate availability is required. It is envisaged that each researcher will spend a maximum of one day on each site. Actual start and finish times for a day will be determined by staff hours and shift patterns at that site.

Car and Driving Licence
To enable you to meet early and late shift requirements, and possible movements between sites, a car and a full UK driving licence is a requirement in the midlands. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
