Senior Administrator/AP Team Lead

Job Description Summary:

An integral part of the Finance team, working closely with the AP team, Finance Shared Services and intracompany partners, responsible for providing finance support, agreeing intracompany balances and processing recharges/journals;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agreeing and managing all intracompany balances in a large multinational company
  • Processing a number of recharges and journals with intracompany partners
  • Liaising with Finance shared services to manage the AP processing
  • Processing charge notes and manual invoicing/debit notes
  • Complete all assigned balance sheet recs in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures in line with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, international accounting standards
  • Support CI and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement

Job Holder Requirements:

  • Experienced accounting background with knowledge of AP and intracompany processing
  • Flexible team member with commitment to the success of the function and organisation
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel skills Experience of working within a multinational company
  • Knowledge of UK, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley legislation
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions
  • Advanced SAP a must and HFM skills a major advantage
  • Can adapt quickly to rebalance workloads when required
  • Strong processing experience in tight month end deadlines

Relationships:

  • Wolverhampton Finance teams, Actuation FP&A, Wolverhampton SIOP/Operations, Finance Shared Services

Key EH&S requirements

  • Adheres to Cardinal rules and relevant site specific safety requirements
  • Take responsibility for the Health and Safety of themselves and that of their colleagues, raising hazards and issues to supervision where appropriate
