Description

Synergis is seeking a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience running large technology projects with a strong sense of urgency and project ownership. This role will be responsible for driving multiple projects, and milestones for this growing technology team. This will include, but not be limited to, negotiating and managing consensus on priorities, timing, rollout, and change management across multiple organizations and stakeholders. The Project Manager must be able to effectively manage the impact to the broader organization, be detailed-oriented and communicate effectively across all levels of the enterprise. The Project Manager must be able to coordinate customer change through customer facing teams. Status reporting and providing transparency into the transformation process will be a key objective and determinant of success.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

Responsible for management of the entire project life cycle from project definition/scope through implementation.
Develop project plan and drive project milestones.
Employ project management methodologies and tools, like MS Project.
Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for project.
Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Manage all communication plans, training and documentation.
Deliver projects on time, at/under budget and within scope.
Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the life cycle of the project.
Manage technology implementations and infrastructure projects in a high-performing Global Operations team.
Lead implementations and support projects - including but not limited to cost, schedule, scope, and high quality deliverables.
Leverage Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies as deemed appropriate for a given situation or project need
Track metrics of team progress, productivity and use the metrics to help the team improve performance
Perform Program Risk Management analysis and act as the liaison between the project team, leadership, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure technical documentation is kept up to date (process diagrams/documentation, technical documents, etc.)
Understand technical nature of the issues to be able to help resolve the impediments
Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives and requirements
Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leaders
Communicate program measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks to team members, stakeholders, and management.

Project Manager Education, Experience and Skills:

Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.
6+ years of prior experience in project management is required.
A proven functional/technical professional with 6+ years' experience as a Project Manager for cross-functional initiatives
Experience working with technology teams on infrastructure related initiatives
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred
Ability to negotiate and create consensus where appropriate with internal groups
Ability to make decisions related to project/initiative objectives, requirements, process, and budget
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support team building and cross-functional interaction
