A new exciting opportunity for a VAT specialist within a global professional services company. The successful candidate will assist the Senior VAT Manager in ensuring compliance is being properly managed by reviewing month end files prepared by the VAT assistant, involvement in completing/reviewing the firms Partial Exemption Special Method and Capital Goods scheme, helping the VAT team manage the internal VAT Helpline mailbox and phone line.
The job role involves maximising efficiency and delivery of VAT reports, ensuring compliance and identifying risk, identifying tax planning opportunities, ensuring completion of all monthly processes on a timely basis and managing relationships between client and HMRC.
