Financial Manager, Financial Control, General Ledger, Welwyn Garden City 6 month
Major Retail Client is looking to appoint an Experienced Finance Manager/Controller to their channels function on an interim basis
The Channels Financial Control team look after our core cost base and smaller businesses. They ensure that financial numbers are accurately recorded and bridge operational with financial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate periodic accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and continuous improvement of all key financial controls across the online businesses.
- Ensuring the smooth implementation of the Oracle Fusion ledger for our online business - driving where appropriate all Testing, Training, Data Validation and Post Go-Live issue resolution.
- Ensuring all new business initiatives are planned and executed in a financially controlled way - significant stakeholder engagement therefore across finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Leading a remote team in India to ensure all financial processes are managed in line with UK expectations.
Candidate profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Knowledge and experience of working in a strong controls environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly with stakeholders at all levels
- Eye for detail to identify where process improvements can be made
- Excellent Organisational and Multi-Tasking skills.
- Experience with Oracle products ( Oracle Fusion/EPM applications )
