Description
My client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager who has experience with Banking, Financial, Mutual Fund experience .
Experience required: (4-5 years minimum)
- IT Coordination/Management role
- IT Project Management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing vendors/providers
- French language skills of benefit although not essential.
The expected activities to be orchestrated will be:
- Identify, in collaboration with the program Manager, the impacts for customer and coordinate the customer IT teams
- Relay requirements packs produced by the application teams to local coordinators.
- Review support model
Standard Project Management skills are expected from the candidate including:
- Project Plan build and follow-up
- Team Management
- Vendor Management skills to work with our infrastructure providers.
- Strong Communication skills to be able to interact with the various stakeholders in Canada and Luxembourg.
- Basic IT Infrastructure knowledge: Machines, Servers, OS (Unix/Windows), Network (Routers, Firewalls),Access Management Tools, Databases (Oracle, MS SQL), Middleware, Citrix
- Basic IT Application architecture knowledge
- General IT knowledge of ITIL/COBIT processes
- Basic knowledge of the Mutual Fund Business would be an asset
