Duration: 200 Days minimum
Pay Rate: €370 - €430 per day
We Are currently looking for an EO/GIS technology expert for an exciting contract role based in Ispra Italy
Description
- Processing and analysis of EO/GIS data
- Test samples of Copernicus EMS mapping products. Search and analysis of reference data (mainly EO/GIS) related to the specific products. Contacts with users for feedback.
- Writing of technical specifications and technical documentation; revision of technical documents and deliverables (data, maps, documents). Interaction with service providers.
- Collect, analyze and present validation results in order to give feedback and advice to rapid mapping and risk and recovery mapping services promoting their continuous improvement.
- Receive feedback from rapid mapping and risk and recovery mapping services, proposing development of new features of the validation process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or relevant field
- At least 11 years of relevant professional experience
- Familiarity with standard industry GIS tools like Bentley Microstation, ESRI GIS platform, ArcGIS, etc. are essential
- Remote sensing experience
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills.
