Financial Services Provider based in Brighton are currently looking for a Strategy Analyst to support business planning process & plan production
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the creation of sections of the overall Group Business Plan paper ahead of the various Board meetings - in particular structuring and slide-writing, as well as formatting, consistency & alignment of overall deck
- Capturing key points during meetings with business stakeholders with a view to summarising their plans & priorities in the Group Business Plan paper
- Supporting the process of collecting market volume and share forecasts in OF's key product markets, and researching pertinent market developments, opportunities & threats
- Supporting the creation of review papers for the Executive team in relation to the 2019 initiative planning process, where this directly feeds into the Group Business Plan
Experience:
- Senior Analyst/Associate level with 2-3 years of Consulting experience
- Strong report-writing and slide structuring skills g. vertical and horizontal logic
- Effective stakeholder management
- Financial sector experience, preferably in retail & commercial banking
- Understanding of financial metrics and terminology
- Proficient at using MS Powerpoint and MS Excel (incl. thinkcell for charts)
- A degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting would be preferable
