Retail IFRS9 Project Manager - Bristol - £570 per day

The Retail IFRS9 Project Manager is responsible for providing oversight and co-ordination across all activities and products in scope ie Mortgages, PCA, Cards, Loans, Asset Finance and other smaller portfolios.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of a revised Forecasting methodology and subsequent implementation onto a new delivery platform
  • On-going remediation of existing Actuals Models and implementation onto their respective platforms to deliver refinements identified since the regulation came into effect on 1st January 2018.
  • On-going remediation of the Reporting solution (Regulatory/Statutory/MI)
  • The Retail IFRS9 Project Manager will also need to manage a number of key dependencies with other large programmes such as Cards Integration and BCBS 239.

    The Retail IFRS9 Project Manager needs to work with the relevant SME's across Risk and Finance and existing teams to:

  • Understand, challenge and build on the existing solution to ensure that it remains aligned to the IFRS9 standard and the future strategic direction of the Risk Function/Bank.
  • Create and manage delivery against detailed plans which are able to tie in a number of dependencies and 'moving' BAU changes.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the implementation of model deployments with the various stakeholders and management, including both Forecasting and Actuals models.
  • Skills/experience required:

    • Experienced change management professional with experience of hands on delivery of Risk Change programmes end-to-end
    • Extensive experience in modelling/risk change management coordinating the development, deployment and testing of credit risk models preferably forecasting and actuals impairment models
    • Experience in delivery of complex regulatory, statutory and internal MI reporting solutions.
    • Experience in managing cross-product, multi-stakeholder projects across Risk and Finance preferably utilising Agile methodology
    • Experience of risk data, systems and reporting including liaison with IT colleagues and Risk platform owners
